AAAM Board Certification Program
(Structured in 3 Levels)

Level 1 Certificate Course in Aesthetic Medicine (3-day course)

Certificate course is open to all medical physicians Includes theory, live demonstration & hands-on on basics in aesthetic medicine: Botulinum Toxin Type A (BTA), Chemical Peelings, injectable Fillers and Lasers. At the end of each day during the course, physicians will sit for a 10 Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test. After successful completion, you will be awarded the Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine.

Level 2 Diploma Course in Aesthetic Medicine (5-day course)

Completion of Level 1 Course strictly required Advanced Aesthetic Medicine including: Aesthetic Dermatology (Acne, Pigmentation, Scars, Hair Loss, Dark Circles, Sun Protection, Cellulite etc), Sclerotherapy, Pain Management in Aesthetic Medicine, Mesotherapy & Platelet Rich Plasma Advanced BTA indications: eg. masseter, axillary hyperhidrosis, platysmal band, bunny lines, gummy smile, mentalis etc Advanced fillers indications: eg. chin, cheek and lip augmentation, malar and jawline enhancement At the end of each day during the course physicians will sit for a MCQ test. After successful completion, you will be awarded Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine.

Level 3 Board Certification Exam in Aesthetic Medicine (1-day Exam)

Completion of Level 1 and 2 Course strictly required Minimum 6 months' interval required after undertaking Level 2 Course In the Written Exam, participants are to answer 100 Multiple Choice Questions in 2 hours If a passing grade of 70% is achieved, participants advance to an oral examination assessing proficiency in several areas of Aesthetic Medicine The Board Certification Exam is a one-day commitment requiring participants to be physically present for the exam After successful completion of both the written and oral examination, a physician is designated, Board Certified, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine
